Foreword
Tria has been making her own mark and style while performing as Resident Artiste in various luxury hotels in the World. She has earned a reputation, not only as a passionate singer, but with very great musical versatility and with a distinct taste for elegance and high fashion.

Biography
We’ve all heard the popular epigram that ‘music is the language of love’. It’s no less true that Tria Bacon’s love and passion for both music and language continue to steer her personally and professionally in so many ways. Learning languages is a hobby as well as a passion. Whilst speaking 8 languages, English, Filipino, Visayan, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese and aiming to learn others, Tria sings in several more.

First, the music! Being born into a musical family meant that music really did come first. From those earliest memories to the release of her multi-AWIT awarded, Wanderlust album, Tria’s singing has been her driving force and passion. A passion that has given her international success and recognition as a Torch Chanteuse. Her voice is best described as smooth, powerful, versatile and moves effortlessly through the various genres: her wide range repertoire covering jazz standards to contemporary pop music.

Wanderlust, with Tria as Executive Producer and Moy Ortiz of The Company as Album Producer, was released on the Universal Records label and quickly caught the attention of the music press. The tracks it features represent Tria’s love for standard jazz, which was such an influential genre in her formative years. Her rich and evocative vocals are complemented by instrumentation from renowned musicians the world over, and the arrangements owe their vibrant authenticity to her collaboration with the multi-award-winning Italian classical and jazz pianist/composer, Moreno Donadel.

This outstanding album was nominated in six categories for an AWIT Award by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI), winning three of them: Best Musical Arrangement, Best Vocal Arrangement, and Best Collaboration. The AWIT Awards are given annually for outstanding achievements in the industry.

The great news is that Tria is currently collaborating with Moreno Donadel again on her latest album. This time the tracks are also benefiting from being mixed and mastered in New York by Grammy Award-winning sound engineer, Robert Smith. Embracing new projects, Tria is currently working on music videos to accompany the album tracks.

Before embarking on her music career, Tria gained a business degree with a view to owning and managing hotels. She even found time, later, to take a break from singing to study for a postgraduate degree in Hotel Management and Design at IHTTI in Neuchatel, Switzerland. She graduated in 2015 and there followed internships in Marriott Hotels in Brussels and at the Mactan Shangri La Hotel in Cebu. Dream experiences for an ardent traveler.

Next, languages! Tria is something of a polyglot! This is in part down to an intense love of travel and language-learning and in part the result of another aspect to her professional life…

Her linguistic competence and fluency mean that she can put emotion into songs in any language. There is nothing half-hearted about anything that Tria Bascon does… in the same way that she immerses herself in a song, her education has been immersive and prestigious too! She has studied in Italy’s Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci in Rome, France’s Institut de Francais in Villefranche and Azurlingua in Nice, AIL Madrid in Spain and Portuguese Connection in Lisbon.

So it is, then, that singing and performing is where it all comes together! Having visited most continents, Tria brings a wealth of experience to her vocals. Her performances have been enjoyed by audiences across Asia and the Middle East, including luxury cruise liners.

Once her imminent album has been released, a whole new set of Tria Bascon performances will be here to enjoy… anywhere you choose to listen to them!
