WANDERLUST ALBUM

The Album title was inspired from Tria’s life, mostly spent travelling and performing in various Countries. Her style is rooted with the fusion of standard and pop and her love of singing as well as speaking in other languages becomes obvious when listening to the Album. The album went on to earn 6 nominations, winning 3 awards at the prestigious AWIT Awards.

It is a compilation of 13 tracks, mostly classic standards in a variety of arrangements… from big band swing, small combo to duo. It contains an original song, “Magkikita Pa Rin Naman Tayo” nominated as “Song of the Year” for the AWIT Awards.

Tracks include:
Spanish – Perfidia by Alberto Dominguez.
French – La Belle Vie (The Good Life) by Sacha Distel.
Italian – Arriverderci composed by Umberto Bindi, lyrics by Giorgio Calabrese.
Portuguese – Anos Dourados written by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Chico Buarque.

Collaboration on Wanderlust Album
There are several collaborations with very talented Artistes and Musicians on the Album.
These include:

Musical arrangements for “A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square”, “The Party’s Over”,                                                                                                                                                  “Arrivederci” by Moreno Donadel.

The famous Beatles song “With a Little Help From My Friends” with multi-awarded vocal group,                                                                                                                                               “The Company”, winning three AWIT Awards. Musical arrangement by JD Villanueva.

The popular Christmas song, “Baby It’s Cold Outside”, a duet with renowned Singer/Composer and multi-platinum awardee, Jose Mari Chan.

Anos Dourados, a duet with Bossanova/Latin group Aquarela, featuring the French/Spanish guitarist, composer, vocalist, Miguel Juteau with Evelyn Juteau also on vocals.

Moreno Donadel.
In addition to working together on Wanderlust, Tria has a close relationship with Moreno Donadel and they are collaborating again on Tria’s new Album. Tria and Moreno worked together for some time during her stint as Resident Artiste at the Press Club Bar of the St Regis Hotel, Beijing, where they developed a great working relationship. When Tria decided to produce Wanderlust, she immediately asked Moreno to collaborate.

An Italian classical jazz pianist and composer, Moreno, has helped to popularize and promote jazz in China. Invited to perform at the 29th Beijing Olympic Games, he has been living in Beijing since 1998. A teacher of jazz, many of his students now boast successful careers and he is now the vice chairman of Chinese contemporary music due to his fantastic work promoting Jazz in the country. Moreover, he has won several national and international music awards, including the "Premio Internazionale Città di Montesilvan".
